Project Coordinator – Part-Time

Title: Project Coordinator – Part-Time

Reports to: Sr. Project Manager

Type of position: Hourly

The part-time Project Coordinator provides project coordination assistance to the Project Manager. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently. Once all stages and timelines of a project are outlined and approved, the project coordinator helps keep all parts of the process organized and running according to plan.

The Project Coordinator’s role is focused on executing the stages of a project plan, including:

Become familiar with every aspect of the project
– Short- and long-term goals
– The project calendars
– Budgeting details

Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
– Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
– Ensure that all team members have what is needed to meet the deadlines and milestones set by the project manager
– Maintain communication between the client and team members
– Regularly maintain and file legal paperwork, i.e., contracts and terms of the-agreement
– Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports

• Coordinate the schedule and project timeline
– Set times and dates for meetings
– Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
– Relay any issues with timelines to the project manager

Qualifications
• Business related major or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and action plans
• Process-oriented
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong mathematical skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively plan and collaborate with others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must pass drug, background, and credit check prior to hire Benefits:
